The Evangelical Methodist Church is an international denomination based in the United States, with affiliated conferences on four continents.
The International General Superintendent is elected on a four-year cycle, and also serves as the General Superintendent of the USA Conference. The USA is currently sub-divided into 8 regions with three elected Conference Superintendents serving them as overseers or bishops.
There are five fully affiliated conferences outside the USA that elect their own General Superintendents and organize themselves under the overarching authority of the EMC Discipline and the International General Conference. They are:
Christ for All Nations Conference (Canada, Europe, and Africa)
Mexico Conference (Mexico Evangelistic Mission)
Myanmar Conference
Asia Pacific Conference
South Africa Conference
